About

Nine years advising suppliers. Fifteen years inside the industry before that.

Navigate North is led by Rebecca Fuller. The distinction that matters to most clients is that she has run market access from inside a pharmaceutical company, and negotiated with Pharmac from the supplier side of the table.

Navigate North is a New Zealand based consultancy specialising in market access for reimbursed and private medicines, vaccines and medical devices. The business brings expertise across both funded and private healthcare environments, with a working understanding of the evolving New Zealand health system, medicine access pathways, and the private health insurance landscape.

Its role is to help pharmaceutical, medical device and life sciences companies navigate complex access, funding and commercial decisions with practical, senior guidance that is tailored to the New Zealand market.

Rebecca, Principal Director of Navigate North, brings 15 years inside a New Zealand based pharmaceutical company, where she worked in and later led market access and commercial teams across both local and offshore markets. That background gives clients direct access to experienced strategic advice grounded in real reimbursement, negotiation and launch work.

She is a pharmacist by training, with a Bachelor of Pharmacy and a postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy from the University of Otago. Clients include New Zealand and Australian based pharmaceutical, medical device and life sciences companies.

Working together

What a small practice gives you.

Navigate North is deliberately small. The person who takes your first call is the person who writes the strategy, sits in the Pharmac meeting and drafts the proposal. Nothing is handed down to a delivery team, because there is not one.

That means a limited number of engagements at any time, and it means being clear at the outset about capacity and timing rather than discovering it halfway through a submission window.

It also means the knowledge stays with your team. A good engagement usually ends with your people better equipped to handle the next one without help.
